Justice Janine P. Geske

Justice Janine P. Geske is the Director of the Restorative Justice Initiative at Marquette University Law School and currently serves as a Distinguished Professor of Law at the same university. She served as interim Dean of Marquette Law School from July 2002 to July 2003 and as interim Milwaukee County Executive from February 28 to May 6, 2002.

She previously served on the Wisconsin Supreme Court from 1993-1998. From 1981-1993, she was a Milwaukee County circuit court judge. Prior to becoming a judge, she served as chief staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee and then as clinical director and assistant professor of law at Marquette University. She is the founder of the Marquette University Law School Clinic for the Elderly.

   
Mike Okiro
Mike Okiro is one of the best educated officers in the Force. He holds a first degree in English Language from the University of Ibadan; a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Jos as well as an LLB. He is currently studying for an LLM. Okiro has attended the National Institute for Policy & Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos. He joined the Nigerian Police in 1972. He has held many operational and command positions. These include serving as DPO in no less than seven police stations across the country; Member, Armed Robbery & Firearms Tribunal, Lagos State; Assistant & Deputy Commissioner of Police (operations), Lagos State and later Benue State. He received double promotion from the position of Commissioner of Police to Deputy Inspector-General of Police. Okiro is also a knight of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, and a receiver of the Police Service Medal.
   
Professor Chukwuma Soludo
Professor Soludo, the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria studied Economics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and graduated with a First Class Honours degree (1984). Professor Soludo has had extensive research, teaching and consultancy works in different areas of economics, including: open-economy macroeconomics; econometrics and economic modeling; international trade and industrial competitiveness; public finance and fiscal policy; monetary/financial policy; and development /institutional economics. He has worked at the World Bank and other regional and international organizations both as a short and long-term consultant since 1993.

He was implementing ambitious restructuring plans for the National Planning Commission (NPC) and the Federal Office of Statistics (FOS) before his appointment as Governor in May 2004.
   
Linda E. Meyer
 

Linda E. Meyer is a recognized expert in the field of mediation. Ms. Meyer has a full-time practice and mediates an average of 150 cases a year in a variety of areas, including employment, commercial, insurance, real estate, and tort law.

A graduate of Wellesley College and the University of Michigan Law School, Ms. Meyer is a trial lawyer who transitioned her practice to mediation in 1990. She has taught mediation and negotiation as an adjunct professor at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law.

She has held seminars about the mediation process, sharing her expertise with attorneys, mediators, and organizations specializing in conflict management.

   
John Brand
John Brand is a change facilitator, mediator, arbitrator and conflict resolution trainer.He is an attorney of the High Court and a Director of Bowman Gilfillan Hayman Godfrey Inc from 1990, Director of John Brand and Associates Inc from 1990 and Director of Conflict Dynamics from 1994.He is a member of the International Labour Organisation Multinational team of experts to develop mediator training for developing countries from 1995.John was also one of the founder trustees of the Independent Mediation Service of South Africa (IMSSA) and vice chairperson of IMSSA from 1988 to 1994, and on their panel of trainers, mediators and arbitrators.He was the founder of AMSSA and on their mediation, arbitration and relationship building panels until the merger with Tokiso in February 2003.John was chief designer of the induction training for commissioners of the Commission for Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).John is co-author of “Labour Dispute Resolution” published by Jutas.
